At Saratoga Academy of the Arts & Sciences students not only learn to appreciate the arts, but have rich opportunities to actively participate in creative work. Integrating the arts across all content areas (arts in education) cultivates self-expression, imagination and creativity. Experiencing and engaging the arts enhances student learning and self-esteem and more fully develops critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Students at all grade levels are also offered regular weekly general Art instruction (art education).
In addition, special programming is offered in piano and guitar instruction, dance, and drama.
